Overview
UrbanV (global AAM infrastructure leader) and Signature Aviation (world's largest private aviation terminal network, 4,200+ FBO locations) signed a Joint Venture agreement in June 2025 to develop vertiport networks across the US, with initial focus on Florida, New York, California, and Texas. The JV will integrate vertiports within Signature's existing FBO terminal footprint, leveraging that network to reduce infrastructure buildout friction. Current phase covers economic/technical feasibility studies, demand analysis, site selection, and regulatory engagement. No construction has started as of May 2026, but the partnership's scale and Signature's infrastructure access make this one of the most strategically significant US vertiport programs.
