Volatus Infrastructure signed a January 2023 agreement with Bellefonte Airport for an FAA-compliant eVTOL vertiport with up to eight landing pads and charging stations. Initially launched with one pad for scalability, targeting Penn State football fan traffic and serving as an East Coast hub. Slated for late 2023 operation; no setbacks reported through May 2026.
